Oduor Jagero True Citizen

Oduor Jagero Launches in Kampala, Uganda

Oduor Jagero is a Kenyan writer who has written a book called True Citizen. The book which he describes as a “satirical thriller” is less satire and more thriller about an epic protest done by some Nairobians against the corrupt traffic police and a transport minister.

The author has launched his book in Nairobi and in Kisumu and has received some very good traction in local media (read my interview with him here Author’s Corner: Why are whistleblowers isolated)

Jagero seems to have decided to go international (or is it regional) as he launches in his book in Kampala, Uganda on Dec 4th at Plot 52 Bukoto Street, Kamwokya. If you are around there you’re welcome to the reading, conversations, and drinks thereafter.
