Morland African Writing Scholarships 2024 Announcement
The Miles Morland Foundation is pleased to announce that the 2024 Morland Writing Scholarships for African writers will open for entries on Monday 1st July. The deadline for submissions is Friday 20th September. For information on how to apply, please see the page marked ‘Entry Requirements and FAQs’ on our website. For those applying, please read these carefully as we will be unable to accept applications that do not adhere to our entry requirements.
Last year we received over 500 submissions. We’re looking forward to receiving entries from new applicants as well as people who have applied before and not made the winners’ list. Our judges will have the difficult task of selecting four new scholars out of those who apply. The winners will be announced in November.
