African Publishers Network (APNET) gets new leadership.

The new leadership of the African Publishers Network (APNET) will take office in January 2023. Lawrence Njagi will be the new leader of the organisation.

The African Publishers Network (APNET) is a pan-African, non-profit, collaborative network that exists to connect African publishing associations in order to exchange information and promote and strengthen indigenous publishing.

The new leadership of the body was elected with the following taking the new positions;

  • Chairman – Lawrence Njagi (Kenya)
  • Vice Chairman – Asare Konadu Yamoah (Ghana)
  • Treasurer – Lukman Dauda (Nigeria)
  • Secretary – Maureen Lynda Masamba (Malawi)
  • Western Africa – Kwabena Agyempong, (Ghana)
  • Eastern Africa – Kiarie Kamau (Kenya)
  • Central Africa – John Paul Yohane, from Malawi
  • Southern Africa – Mpuka Radinku (South Africa)
  • Northern Africa – Mohamed Radi (Egypt)
  • Francophone Africa – Anges Felix N’dakpri (Cote D’Ivoire)
