The Atlantide Literature Festival 2025 with Alain Mabanckou returning as artistic director will be held in Nantes, France from March 6 – 9, 2025.
The Atlantide Literature Festival has gathered dozens of international and French writers to the French city of Nantes since it was founded in 2013. For the period of the festival, the people of Nantes are treated to readings, panel discussions, performances, book launches, and other literary goodies. Taking the role of artistic director since 2018 is legendary writer and academic Alain Mabanckou.

The 2025 edition, which will be the thirteenth, will return with activities that will titillate bibliophiles in the French town this March. On the program will be many of the leading writers working today including Ananda Devi, Abubakar Adam Ibrahim, Simone Atangana Bekono, Angelo Bayock, Hemley Boom, Diadie Dembele, Rokhaya Diallo, Amira Ghenim, Lisette Lombé, Dibakana Mankessi, and Lucy Mushita.
There is also a programme for school audiences from the last year of nursery school to high school. The festival has invited young readers to go on a journey through literary stories that address the major issues facing our societies. They will meet authors like Marie Desplechin, Siècle Vaëlban, Sophie Rigal-Goulard, Yara El-Gadban, and Martine Pouchain.
