Biennale des littératures d'Afrique noire 2024

Biennale des littératures d’Afrique noire 2024 kicks off on March 13.

Biennale des littératures d’Afrique noire 2024 is running in the city of Bordeaux, France from March 13 – 16, 2024

Biennale des littératures d’Afrique noire (English: Biennial of Black African Literature) has been hosted in Saint-Médard-en-Jalles, France every two years from 2024. It is the only major event in French-speaking literature focusing on African letters in Saint-Médard-en-Jalles, a suburb of Bordeaux. It has established itself as a local cultural meeting that allows young and old people to meet, without formality, authors, and publishers and to rub shoulders with renowned award-winning writers in Africa and Europe.

For 2024, those who attend will be treated to events for children and adults like panels, readings, storytelling shows, workshops, and loads more. Some of the guests will be Michèle Rakotoson, Magali Attiogbe, Béata Umubyeyi Mairesse, Kidi Bebey, Corinne Fleury, Kouam Tawa, Gangoueus (Réassi Ouabonzi), Muriel Troadec and Nassuf Djailani, and many others.
