British Virgin Islands Literary Festival 2025

British Virgin Islands Literary Festival 2025 starts November 6

The British Virgin Islands Literary Festival 2025, with the theme “Long Story Short,” runs in Road Town, British Virgin Islands, from November 6 – 9, 2025.

The British Virgin Islands Literary Arts Festival is an annual gathering of writers, poets, publishers, booksellers, and book lovers, celebrating the literary arts and the creative process. It was founded in 2021 as part of the British Virgin Islands Department of Culture’s Culture and Tourism Month activities and operates in collaboration with the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College.

The 2025 edition will include writers’ workshops, book readings, signings, and launches, panel discussions, a community book fair, and an evening of music and poetry, weaving together art forms to close the celebration in true Virgin Islands style. Some of the scheduled events will be the Art for Art’s Sake creative forum, the Light a Fire: Poets’ Showcase, Sunset Stories powered by VP Bank, The Writers’ Welcome Reception and Book Brunch, and Literary Wonderland: Children’s Programme, sponsored by Harneys.
