You can now support the work we do archiving African and Black literature by buying us a coffee on the Ko-Fi platform.
WritingAfrica.com gives visibility to African and Black writers with news on book news, launches, literary festivals, author profiles, and more. The project which started in 2013 is now the biggest blog on African literature on the internet with over 4,000 blog posts. Alongside the blog, there is a podcast to hear the voices of African writers and a YouTube channel featuring African writers in their element at events virtual and physical.
In 2020, we asked those who follow us to support our work with donations to allow the team to invest more time into this work that is so important now and will be even more vital for future readers, scholars, and other lovers of the written word. Those who wanted to support the project could do so via Paypal, Mobile Money, and Patreon.
Starting today, those who want to support us can buy us a coffee at the Ko-Fi platform. That platform allows creators to earn money from their work by sharing content, accepting donations, and selling products and services. You can now support us with a coffee starting at US$5.
