Gojon Pin and others stories is the latest anthology from our friends at the Caine Prize. The book contains stories from several writers the most “high profile” being the winner of the 2014 prize, Kenya’s Okwiri Oduor as well as the other four shortlisted ladies and gents. The others are the twelve writers from across Africa who participated in the 2014 Caine Prize Workshop which was held earlier this year in Zimbabwe. They include Zimbabwean writers Tendai Huchu, Lawrence Hoba, Violet Masilo, Isabella Matambanadzo, Barbara Mhangami, Philani A. Nyoni, and Bryony Rheam .
The book was launched at a well-attended event at the Book Cafe in Harare which for those who are looking from the outside looks like the place to do your creative gig on Thursday last week.
