This story by Ugandan author and film-maker Dilman Dila starts in a realistic setting that becomes more and more fantastic as it goes, drawing us into his world of magic and spirits.
Dila shared this information on his Facebook on Saturday, April 4 revealing that the cover was designed by Charity Atukunda.
“Yes!! Time to celebrate (in spite of COVID)! After about 6 years, here is my new book. A novella. Dark fantasy. Yes, the Abiba in the title is the Abiba you heard about in your childhood — those people who fly with fire blazing out of their a*ses. I like to think of them as dragon-people. Show me some love and grab a copy. Less than $3 for the ebook. The cover is by the amazing Charity (Atukunda)!” he said.
