Egyptian Playwright, as well as TV and film writer Lenin El-Ramly, died on Friday, February 7, 2020.
Lenin El-Ramly was known for his satire and daring ridicule of Middle Eastern culture and politics. His work included the plays In Plain Arabic and Point of View, and the films The Terrorist, Bekeet and Adeela, and The Ostrich and the Peacock.
