Writers Project of Ghana is one of the most exciting projects where live events in African literature are concerned. The organisation hosts a reading of a writer once a month in Accra, Ghana without fail. This month there is a special treat for the Accra residents as they get to meet award-winning writer Elnathan John.
Elnathan John is a Nigerian writer whose debut novel Born On A Tuesday published last year has been received very well in the African writing business. His work has also appeared in Hazlitt, Per Contra, Evergreen Review, FT and the Caine Prize for African Writing anthology 2013, 2014 and 2015. He also writes weekly political satire for the Nigerian newspaper Daily Trust on Sunday.
The writer and lawyer will be doing a reading this Saturday, 5th March 2016 at Vidya Bookstore, Osu from 4.30 PM to 6.30 PM.
