Narrative Landscape Press's Anwuli Ojogwu and Eghosa Imasuen

Introducing Eghosa Imasuen, Anwuli Ojogwu’s Narrative Landscape Press

Narrative Landscape Press is the newest kid on the African publishing block from Nigerian doctor and author Eghosa Imasuen and Anwuli Ojogwu.

Eghosa Imasuen is the Nigerian doctor who left the uncertain field of medicine to concentrate on the more lucrative world of writing books. He wrote two Kachifo published books To Saint Patrick and Fine Boys which we really loved even though it forced us to think in pidgin which was quite a task.

With two books under his belt he would go to the back office of publishing as the chief operating officer running operations of Farafina an imprint of Kachifo. Kachifo’s eternal claim to fame has been that it’s the “Nigerian publisher” of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Kachifo is of course a lot more than just about Adichie as they have published retired Nigeria President Olusegun Obasanjo, Lesley Nneka Arimah, A. Igoni Barrett, Etisalat Prize winner Jowhor Ile and a host of many others.

Eghosa left that publishing firm last year and we wondered where he had vanished to until he emerged working for a new outfit called Narrative Landscape Press. Narrative Landscape Press describes itself as an independent publishing services and publishing-logistics firm in Lagos, Nigeria, which serves self-publishing authors and small independent presses. It also manages the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library publishing imprint.

Eghosa isn’t running the organisation on his own of course. In fact the man is actually just a junior officer who reports to Anwuli Ojogwu who is the managing director of the new outfit. Ojogwu started out as an editor at Farafina, then getting into promotional campaigns and editing for books, editorial consulting for magazines and with stints in the communication departments at the Fate Foundation and Thistle Praxis. Her last job was as the Editor at Quramo Publishing.

So what does Narrative Landscape Press have on offer for you the reader? A lot, it seems, with a full complement of titles from fiction, poetry and even nonfiction. Here are a few of their titles they have already produced as well as some that will be coming to your bookshelves in 2018.
