Jalada Afrofutures anthology now online

Jalada Afrofuture(s)
Jalada 2 Afrofuture(s)

Its taken its time but it is now here. The Jalada 02: Afrofuture(s) anthology was launched at midnight yesterday in Nairobi.

It’s the third anthology of the Jalada Writers Collective and this edition has work from voices as diverse as Richard Ali, Jude Dibia, Okwiri Oduor, Ivor Hartmann, Lydia Kasese and Melisa Kiguwa .

The anthology is the third that the Jaladans have unveiled and you can read my reviews of previous anthologies including Sext Me Poems and Stories and Sketch of a bald woman in the semi-nude and other stories.

As you can imagine, I haven’t yet read this one but the sample that they unveiled a few months ago was ominous to say the very least. W shall be giving our review as soon as it is humanely possible. Enjoy.
