Kakamega Book Festival 2023 for July 29

Kakamega Book Festival 2023 program unveiled.

The program for the Kakamega Book Festival 2023 to happen in the Western Kenyan town on Saturday, July 29, 2023 has been unveiled.  

In 2022, the Kakamega Book Club hosted the inaugural Kakamega Book Festival at the Wanda Gardens in Kakamega. With book discussions, poetry recitals, and loads more at the first major book festival in the town in Western Kenya a great time was had by those who attended. Festival organisers have announced a reprisal of the activities in Kakamega County on Saturday. There will be a series of events that include a health walk, a book reading tent, book exhibitions, a spelling bee, poetry performances, panel discussions, storytelling sessions around a bonfire, a keynote they call a “Pep Talk” and showtime that includes comedy, songs, and dance. Adults: Kshs 200

Children: Kshs 100
