The Book Fairy Festival 2025, the second edition, will be hosted in Kingston, Jamaica, from July 11 – 13, 2025.
The Book Fairy Festival was founded and curated by Shanique Sinclair (also known as Shanz The Book Fairy), an advocate for literature, education, and the transformative power of books, in 2024. It is a literary and wellness festival that celebrates reading, storytelling, and creativity.
The 2025 edition returns to the island nation with author chats, storytelling sessions, creative writing workshops, yoga sessions, and more. There will also be a children’s village with activities for young readers. The featured guests include Tiffany Jackson, Nana Adjei Brenjah, Ishi Robinson, Laila Jaye, Julianne Mundle, Desmond Hall, Diana McCaulay, Olive Senior, Kim Robinson Walcott, Yasheka Graham, Mitchell Jackson, Celeste Mohammed, and Callie Browning.
