Kisumu Literacy Day will be hosted at the Kenyan National Library in Kisumu on Saturday, August 31, 2024.
The Kenya National Library Service is known for its work in providing library services in its many libraries across the country. The beloved service has announced that it will host the “Kisumu Literacy Day” in the city over the weekend. The day will feature a creative writing and crafts workshop, book reading and discussions, opportunities to learn Luo and French, meet-the-author events, book launches, and storytelling events.
Some featured performers will be Wangari -The Storyteller, Oluoch Madiang, George Chunga WuodJomariek, and many others. If you are in Kisumu City, plan to attend this auspicious occasion. You and your children will be catered to literary-wise.
