LIFTed Literary Festival 2025 for Pasadena, California

The LIFTed Literary Festival 2025, with the theme “Every Story Matters”, will be held in Pasadena, California, USA from February 4 – 20, 2025.

LIFTed UNITED is a literary community organization founded to promote greater support for librarians, teachers, writers, readers, and authors in Southern California and beyond founded by Karis Mcpherson. Its motto “Literacy Influences Future Talent and EDucation (LIFTed)” is aimed at inspiring and reshaping the narrative while amplifying unique voices of the past, present, and future. The goal is to harness the extraordinary purpose of literature to bridge gaps, explore culture, and inspire change.

In 2024, the first edition of the LIFTed Literary Festival, also known as the “LIFTed Book Festival,” hosted more than 30 authors with a focus on celebrating literature, inclusion, and community by supporting librarians, teachers, writers, readers, and authors. The mission was to amplify unique voices and explore culture through diverse narratives.
