Ipikai

Ipikai, founded by Batsirai Chigama and Fungai Tichawangana is an initiative of the new Zimbabwe Poets Society.

The first edition of the magazine edited by Tariro Ndoro features contributions by among others Samir Mtamba, Alfred Ndhlovu, Mduduzi Bhebhe, Lindsay Nyabereka, Munashe Matumbi, Tanyaradzwa Tiffany Nyikadzino, Zulu Masuku, Tavada Nhume, Conrad Kaupo, Karl Sibanda, Joyce Chigiya, Ivor Hartmann, Isheanesu Dondo, Chioniso Tsikisayi, Gandaidzo Janet Kufa, Emelda Gwitima, David Chasumba, Aubrey Sandile Manna Ncube, Margaret Chideme, Vongai Chirove, U-Meleni Mhlaba-Adebo, Tsitsi Jaji, Thuthukani Ndlovu, Takudzwa Goniwa, Mbonisi Zikhali, and Lindiwe Dhlakama.

Mosi Oa Tunya Literary Review

The Mosi Oa Tunya Review, founded by Tendai Machingaidze and Ellen Machingaidze, is the first multi-lingual, pan-African, online literary magazine from Zimbabwe. The editorial team aims to promote and publish writing in all of Zimbabwe’s 16 official languages.

The third issue features contributions in poetry, fiction, and nonfiction in English and Shona for adults and children. Some of the contributors to this issue were Chido Munangwa, Tanaka Chidora, Iz Mazoni, Salimah Valiani, Marcel Aduda, George Munikwa, Kay Powell, Masimba Musodza, and Sophia Wekwete. The issue also features personalities like Sue Nyathi, Lin Barrie, and Nokuthula Mazibuko Msimang.

Fiyah Literary Magazine

Fiyah Magazine of Black Speculative Fiction is an American-based magazine of Black speculative fiction. Also referred to as FIYAH, the magazine was announced in September 2016, inspired among others by the 1920s experimental periodical FIRE! created by Wallace Thurman.

The latest issue which focuses on food and cuisine features contributions of among others A.M Barrie, Makeda K Braithwaite, Ashaye Brown, Monique Collins, Whitney French, Elnora Gunter, and Lina Monroe.

Shallow Tales Review

The Shallow Tales Review is a Nigerian-based electronic literary magazine dedicated to curating new and established voices from Africa.

In the last edition which is the 38^th, there are contributions from Omobola Osamor, Isaiah Adepoju, Nwadu Onyebuchi, Ifiokong Etuk, Alton Melvar M Dapanas, Aishah Ahmed Imam, Olalekan Hussein, Zama Madinana, Fatma Hussein Ibrahim, and Tope Abigail Larayetan.
