On August 8, 2019, Narrative Landscape Press announced an illustrator competition where the winner pockets N100,000.
Narrative Landscape Press, founded by Eghosa Imasuen and Anwuli Ojogwu, is an independent publishing service and publishing-logistics firm in Lagos, Nigeria. Some of the writers who have been published by the company are Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Oyinkan Braithwaite, Olusegun Obasanjo, and Ayisha Osori.
The publisher is running a new competition for Nigerian women illustrators worth N100,000 which is an advance on a possible future contract. The contract will see the winner work with a renowned author on their first children’s book. The illustrations sought have the following instructions;
If you are female and Nigerian who illustrates and understands the instructions then and this is for you. Please send your illustrations as PDFs or JPEGs (email-friendly sizes) to competitions@narrativelandscape.com with the subject line reading “Illustrator Competition.”
