Richard Ali A Mutu K’s latest novel Et les Portes Sont des Bouches launched in Kinshasa, DR Congo on Friday, September 10, 2021.

Richard Ali A Mutu K is a Congolese writer living in Kinshasa who writes in French and in Lingala. His novel, Ebamba Kinshasa Makambo, written in Lingala, one of the ​​most widely spoken languages in Congo and Central Africa, has been translated into French with the same title and into English and published by Phoneme media, under the title Mr Fix It.

Among his publications are Le Cauchemardesque de Tabu, recueil des nouvelles, which won him the Mark Twain Prize in 2009, Ebamba, Kinshasa-Makambo, lisolo (roman) 2014, and Okozonga Maboko pamba, masolo yab mikuse (nouvelles), 2017.

The founder of the Association of Young Writers of Congo (AJECO) currently works as Head of the Wallonia-Brussels Library in Kinshasa.

The Congolese novelist launched his newest novel Et les Portes Sont des Bouches published by Mabiki Editions at the Wallonie-Brussels Library, Kinshasa on Friday, September 10.
