Rive Noire Littérature 2025 for Paris on June 28

The first edition of Rive Noire Littérature 2025 will be hosted in Paris, France, on Saturday, June 28, 2025.

Lareus Gangoueus is a literary critic known for his passion for literature and his role in creating a multimedia archive of African literature. For years, he has hosted the literary show “Les Lectures de Gangoueus” on Sud Plateau TV, a television channel focused on cultural news and artistic expression based in Paris, France. The show brings together several readers around a literary work in the presence of the writer for 52 minutes.

Gangoueus has announced Rive Noire Littérature (English: Black Shore Literature) to celebrate literature from Africa, the Caribbean, and France at the Oudiné Center in Paris. The event is done with the collaboration of Afrolivresque, the leading platform covering African literature for French-speaking Africans on the continent and its diaspora. On offer will be panel discussions, round tables, keynote addresses, press conferences, interviews, book signings, and more.

The event will bring together guest authors from season 10 of the show Les Lectures de Gangoueus, as well as readers, critics, influencers, and book professionals from Algeria, Madagascar, Togo, Congo, Zimbabwe, France, Mali, Guinea, Gabon, and Cameroon. They include Johary Ravaloson, Hemley Boum, Sami Tchak, Dieudonné Niangouna, Bilguissa Diallo, Diadié Dembelé, Fanta Dramé, Christine Tsalla Elong, Joss Doszen, Sully Quay, Anne-Sophie Stefanini, Lucy Véronica Mushita, Christian Éboulé, Solo Niaré, Zacharie Acafou, Charline Effah, Selma Guettaf, Mamadou Mahmoud N’Dongo, and Ahmed Bah.
