Salon Du Livre Africain De Paris 2024

Salon du Livre Africain de Paris 2024 starts March 15.

Salon du Livre Africain de Paris 2024 will be hosted in Paris, France from March 15 – 17, 2024. The guest country will be Cote D’Ivoire and the theme is “Decompartmentalizing Imaginations – Rethinking Futures.”

The first edition of Salon du Livre Africain de Paris (English: African Book Fair in Paris) organised by Erick Monjour was hosted in 2021. The main feature was a space dedicated to publishers, booksellers, libraries, research centres, and institutions representing the African publishing and cultural world. For 2024, events like readings, panels, book launches, exhibitions, and more at the town hall of the 6th arrondissement in what is the biggest edition of this event yet. Audience members will meet writers, poets, journalists, business people, and others from Algeria, Benin, Belgium, Canada, Cameroon, Cote D’Ivoire, Gabon, Guinee, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Maurice, DR Congo, Senegal, Congo, Togo, and the host country France. Some of these who will be Boubacar Boris Diop, Rodney Saint Eloi, Marc Alexandre Oho Bambe Anges Felix N’Dakpri, Dan Bomboko, Dramane Boaré, Yacine Retnani, Anissa Ameziane, Eugénie Ndiaye, Sansy Kaba Diakité, Benaouda Lebdai, Abdelkader Djemaï, Déo Namujimbo, Binkady-Emmanuel Hié, Carmen Féviliyé, Ikenna Okeh, Solange Siyandje, Jean Celestin Edjangue, José Mongo, Kebir M. Ammi, Monique Séverin, Antoinette Tidjani Alou, Nassuf Djailani, Jean-Luc Raharimanana, Wilfried N’Sondé, Khalid Lyamlahy, Elgas, Eugène Ebodé, Hemley Boum, Dalfine Ahamadi, Hervé Asah, Léonce Houngbadji, Mamadou Fall, Tanella Boni, Fidèle Goulyzia, Assia-Printemps Gibirila, Ramcy Kabuya, Ndeye Fatou Kane, Marien Fauney Ngombe, Lea Nguessan, Diade Dembele, Amadou Bal Ba, Amzat Boukari-Yabara, Suzanne Dracius, Romuald Fonkoua, and Samuel René Pefoura.

There will be a tribute to Henri Lopes at the fair.
