Storymoja Festival set to hit Nakuru in late May

The Storymoja Festival is officially the biggest literary festival in Kenya and one of the fastest-growing on the continent. The festival is making its first regional stopover in Nakuru at the Kenya National Library Services on May 28 – 30, 2015.

The Nakuru edition promises some very cool guests that residents of that famous town can enjoy. They include Swahili Authors Wallah bin Wallah and Ken Walibora who will speak to educators and general audiences on writing in Swahili and teaching Swahili literature effectively.

Apart from these Swahili gurus, there will be Kinyanjui Kombani, Auma Obama, Wangari Grace, 13-year-old Joseph Bokea, and a whole host of others. You can download the full programme to see who will feature here.

If you are in Nakuru make it to the National Library. You won’t regret it. I hope.
