Wangari The Storyteller will have a meet and greet at the Alliance Française Nairobi on Saturday, April 13, 2024.
Wangari The Storyteller is a storyteller who infuses her stories with song, dance, chants, and other performance delicacies to create an intimate interaction with her audiences. She has performed at numerous venues starting with her hometown of Nairobi and across the world in four continents. Some of her performances have been in Switzerland, Sweden, India, the USA, Scotland, the United Arab Emirates, and others. Apart from the stage, she also does storytelling on TV both for children and general audience programs.
Wangari is the author of numerous titles for children such as The Forever Tree, Mti Wa Milele, The Colour Magician, and many others.
The Nairobian will be doing a meet and greet session this Saturday from 10 am – 1 pm at the Alliance Française Nairobi. Entry to the event will be showing one of the Nairobian’s books.
