Writivism 2016 Creative Writing Workshops Callout

A callout for the Writivism 2016 workshops to be held next year in five different African cities was announced at the Storymoja Festival on Friday 19th September 2015. That’s right ladies and gentlemen, if you think that you have got what it takes to hack it in the writing game then this is your chance.

This year the workshops will be done in not only fiction but also in nonfiction and poetry in both English and French. More languages and genres, what’s not to like eh? The schedule of the new workshops will be;

January 8 – 10, 2016:              Goma (Fiction – held in French)

January 15 – 17, 2016:            Dakar (Non Fiction – held in French)

January 22 – 24, 2016:             Abidjan (Fiction – held in French)

March 6 – 8, 2016:                  Accra (Non Fiction – held in English)

April 15 – 17, 2016:                Kampala (Poetry – held in English)

Facilitators for the various workshops shall be announced in due course with successful applicants being announced at the Ake Arts and Books Festival in Abeokuta Nigeria in November.
