Zukiswa Wanner’s newest title Africa (A True Book: The Seven Continents) is now available. It will be the South African author’s third children’s book.
Zukiswa Wanner is a South African publisher and novelist with four novels in The Madams (2006), Behind Every Successful Man (2008), Men of The South (2010), and London Cape Town Joburg (2014). Her novels have been shortlisted for the South African Literary Awards (SALA) and the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize. In 2015, she won the K Sello Duiker Memorial Literary Award for London Cape Town Joburg (2014). She is also the writer of nonfiction in 8115: Prisoners House (2013) and Hardly Working (2015).
The multi-genre writing author has also dabbled in writing children’s books with her two books in Jama Loves Banana’s (2013) and Refilwe (2014). She has shared on her social media platforms that she now has a new publication for kids called Africa (A True Book: The Seven Continents).
The new book is described by the publisher Children’s Press which is an imprint of Scholastic Inc thus, “This book details the history, culture, and geography of Africa.”
