Doek

Doek! Literary Magazine (Doek!) is a free, independent, and Pan-African online literary magazine produced in Windhoek, Namibia. It publishes short fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and visual art from Namibia, Africa, and the African diaspora.
The latest edition, the fifteenth, features fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and visual art from Namibia, Brazil, Cameroon, Nigeria, Morocco, Mozambique, South Africa, Switzerland, Tanzania, and the United States. The contributors are Martin Amushendje, Hugh Ellis, Welhemina Suro Ganuses, Amanda Gunn, Katherine Hunter, Filemon Iiyambo, Omen Kaisho, Jedidja Kakuva, Vekondjisa Nosipho Katusuva, Xavierie M, Vanessa Majoro, Paul Mason, Eduardo Mondlane, Eduek Moses, Frankie Murray, Daisy Serena, Johannes Shikongo, and Sian Sullivan.
Journal of West Indian Literature

The Journal of West Indian Literature has been published twice yearly by Literatures in English, University of the West Indies, since 1986. It is a University of the West Indies-led Caribbeanist project invested in highlighting and critically examining the prolific literary production of the Anglophone Caribbean.
The latest edition of the journal has contributions from Betsy Nies, Kris Singh, Gabriel Cambraia Neiva, Anita Baksh, Ronald Cummings, Reba K. Charles-Dickson, Kedon Willis, Courtenay Chan, Laëtitia Saint-Loubert, Nivedita Misra, and many tributes to Velma Pollard.
Nalubaale Review

The Nalubaale Review is an online literary magazine based in Uganda that publishes work from African writers twice a year. It focuses on themed issues, showcasing short stories, poems, articles, and photo essays that explore various aspects of African literature and culture.
The latest edition, which is the fifth, was edited by founder Nakitto Irene has contributions under the theme “Departure / Survival.” The contributors, who have submitted short stories and poetry, come from Uganda, Zambia, Nigeria, Ghana, and Kenya. They are Akinyi Ocholla, Abiodun Awodele, Akanni Festus Olaniyi, David Eke, Oluwabukola Maria Candida, Amani Mosi, Christian Emecheta, Edina Yawo Denoo, Saadhatu Uzair, and Saadhatu Uzair.
The Shallow Tales Review

The Shallow Tales Review is a Nigerian-based electronic literary magazine dedicated to curating new and established voices from Africa.
June 2025 features writers from Nigeria, Ghana, Malawi, Zimbabwe, and Morocco and includes Wesley Macheso, Simbarashe Steyn Kundizeza, Abraham Kedong Ali, John Chinaka Onyeche, Anthony Ikeh, Christian Emecheta, Olabimpe Adedamola, Mohamed Mahou, and Aishat Yahkub.
